About the Farm…

Fuller Farms TX is a veteran-owned family farm out of Hawkins, TX. Our goal is to restore balance to mother nature through regenerative agriculture

One way we do this is by routinely moving our animals; they are rotated through the pasture and forest areas of our farm to allow for new forage and fresh bedding regularly. All while simultaneously giving the land time to rest, recover and reproduce a better soil health, leading to new lush vegetation and organic matter. This practice creates healthier and tastier meats from our animals while also allowing the land to thrive for generations to come.

About the Farmers…

It all started with a bad egg, and a "Free to Good Home" ad...

The idea of Fuller Farms TX began while Tanner was serving in the U.S. Navy. We had bought our first home in Washington state and as new homeowners we decided a little backyard garden could be fun and enjoyable to grow our own veggies.

That idea quickly turned into "Why not have a few backyard chickens?" With a few clicks and a quick search we found someone in need of rehoming their flock of laying hens. A few hens quickly escalated and because Tanner doesn't do anything half way, he came home with a piglet one afternoon saying we were going to try our hand at growing our own bacon! Thus the first bacon seed was planted! We then converted a small playhouse in the backyard to a pig pen to grow out this adorable little pig.

That little pig turned out to be the catalyst to the idea of actually farming! Not just in a small neighborhood backyard, but an actual farm. After the arrival of our first daughter we decided to separate from the military life and move back home to Texas. Everything fell into place, like God was lighting up the path for us.

We moved on to our new "real" farm in Hawkins, TX and are now raising our three girls while learning to steward the land and raise the best meats possible for your family and ours, too!
